Steve and I had Sea Dog Brewing for the first time recently and we liked what we had quite a bit! What we had was the Blue Paw Wild Blueberry, a fruited wheat beer. We were slightly concerned that the beer would come across as being too sugary and although it was indeed sweet it wasn't too much for us. It was actually very enjoyable. Flavor features with this beer you would find of course would be Blueberry, sweetness and fruity. The beer is light bodied and goes down nice and smooth. A good beer and a promising start for us with Sea Dog Brewing.
Great spot to stop and have some beer or food. Large bar, lots of seating and even outside seating on the water in the summer. They serve brunch on Saturday and Sunday as well. I'm not a huge beer drinker but some of my friends enjoyed their beers. The food is great a little pricey but still good. A place to stop in the summer for sure!
Cute little spot! I had heard of this place before, but I couldn't remember if I went to other of their locations. We sat at the bar and was provided with excellent customer service. My fiance and I split the turkey sandwhich and it was amazing. The bartender even gave us two bags of chips! Brewery was super clean.
I have eaten here at least three times during the summer of 2023. Always pick a seat outside on the balcony as there is a nice view of the river, and I think the restaurant is always cold! Haddock sandwich, haddock tacos, and fried shrimp were all delicious. Service was good and we were at the last four top on the porch. There was an event that required police assistance off the patio, and the front desk staff was prompt to call 911. Just be careful to avoid it on nights of a waterfront concert. It's packed
Great service. Waitress gave me a tasting of the stout which had a strong hazelnut flavor (so not for me) so I was able to order the Porter instead (or vice versa?). Either way, she took good care of us. Food was good, view of river was lovely, all in all a great lunch.
